Kids PTSD Special Amplified

Our last special in the PTSD series is PTSD & Kids! Davie sat down with all 5 kids and asked them some questions about PTSD and what they did know, how they feel about it, and how it effects them. Bahamas

Our profile photo is from a great time we had in the Bahamas. Up next is the fishbowl topic on it. We can't wait to we are able to do it again.

Music Genre

What type of music do you like?  Davie has a few surprising revelations on his choices.  Misti shows she is very well versed in an array of different music genres.  Of course it's all a laughable moment.

Cleaning

No one likes to live in a mess.  We have a few ways to clean it up DMWATS style.  However you do it, one thing is for sure, it feels way better to just be clean.

Soulmates

There is nothing wrong with believing there is someone out there for you. Misti and Davie share there take on soulmates.  Yes, they do exist.

For our last PTSD special, we have a candid talk to our kids about PTSD.  We encouraged them to be as honest and straight forward as possible. They did not disappoint.  If you take anything away from the PTSD specials, remember there is help. No one should suffer in silence.

Binge Watch

The boyz, homeland, madam secretary.... the list goes on and on.  Binge shows are the best.  Misti and Davie share a few of their favorites.

If you could go back and talk to yourself at a younger age, what would you say.  Davie would continuously remind himself to buy stocks.  Misti is all for seizing on every opportunity that presented itself to her. What would you do?

Spiders, Bugs and....spiders!

Spiders, centipedes, spiders, roly poly... and did I mention spiders? Davie and Misti get a case of the itches at the very mention of these critters.

PTSD-Caregiver POV

PTSD effects more than just the individual.  Misti gives her take from a spouse/caregiver point of view. This was not an easy episode for either of us to do. We hope it helps those dealing with the condition.
